SATF - Unit Manager

Job Description: Primary role is to support the development of the Therapeutic Community.  The Unit Manager is responsible for the coordination of the substance abuse treatment at the housing unit level and oversees daily on-site operations of Unit.  H/She is responsible for supervision of scheduling and treatment activities of approximately 246 residents housed in 4 distinct housing areas (clusters).  H/She is responsible for the scheduling of all inmates into IPTCSAP activities, directing the contracted Program Counselors in the implementation of the plan for provision of services.  The Unit Manager’ duties include acting as the liaison with departmental custody and classification staff, participating in inmate classification hearings, supervising the administration of the assessment process of all newly arrived inmates, supervising the Program Counselor's activities and monitoring substance abuse program services plan development.  The Supervising Counselor shall meet with the Program Counselors to develop the Substance Abuse Services Coordination Plan for continued community-based substance abuse services upon release.  This position is responsible for the secure storage of participant records and participant case files.

Job Description: The duties and tasks of the TI-SAT Program Director are wide-ranging and it is essential that the Program Director be able to multi-task while maintaining a positive management style.  Walden House expects the Program Director to provide for an environment where participants feel safe and are able to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Our service delivery model, for which the Program Director is responsible, will ensure a rehabilitative approach which is trauma sensitive, addresses the unique needs of women and the cultural diversity of the clients served.  Administratively, the Program Director will ensure compliance with all Walden House policies and procedures; all CDCR policies and procedures; and all contractual obligations.  Additionally, the Program Director will provide timely response to CDCR information requests such as statistical reports; and on a day-to-day basis will make certain that proper data collection methodology is being utilized; and information systems are properly maintained. 
Relationship management is crucial to the success of the TI-SAT program.  The Program Director will create a positive treatment culture for staff and female offenders with the intent of providing optimal delivery of services on a consistent basis.  The Program Director will serve as the liaison with the CDCR office as well as provide oversight of all services provided for female offenders by outside agencies.

WEBS Outpatient Case Manger II

Job Description: This position works with high risk, court-involved youth, who often are dealing with co-occurring disorders. The position learns a number of standardized interventions, and works with clients and their families both while in residential treatment and after completing residential treatment. Part of the job involves identifying resources in the client’s community and coordinating successful linkages with those resources. Community Service Coordinator

We have recently been awarded a two year contract from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) to provide substance abuse case management services to parolees and inmates discharging into Parole Region III (Los Angeles). Renewal of the contract will be pursued, but continuance of all SASCA positions is contingent on fund availability. Under the direction of the SASCA Placement Lead, this position, based out of Los Angeles Headquarters, will be primarily responsible for the provision of on-site promotion of continuing care treatment and outreach to participants discharging form within CDCR institutions state-wide.

Nurse Case Manager

Job Description: Responsible for the coordination of medical services for pregnant and postpartum women and their children. Completes a medical history form new clients and obtains records from previous placements (if appropriate). LOFFDI Services Coordinator

The applicant must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an MSW from an accredited college or university. Job Description:

The Therapist provides mental health and other clinical services to residential and Drug Treatment Furlough clients. Provides psychological assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, case management and linkage to OP clients. Handles case management with other staff.  Works within the Parole guidelines with issues regarding client progress and medication evaluation. Maintains accurate records of client contact.  Provides thorough progress notes and other documentation. 

Schedule:  Monday - Friday; 2pm - 10:30pm
