We are a group of Walden House graduates who have banned together to create an on going supportive atmosphere with activities that promote our continued success in recovery, and to support Walden House in many different ways.
Our goal is to provide an atmosphere of mutual support to help those in recovery stop the cycle of addiction, crime and incarceration. The Alumni does this by being an added support to the Walden House graduates and to those still in treatment.
The tenets embodied in one addict helping another addict are of prime importance at our monthly meetings, fundraising and recreational events. We share our strengths and hope with one another, unconditionally, as a way of giving support to the person in recovery who may be struggling to stay clean and sober.

Nor-Cal Alumni
The Alumni BBQ in July was a great success! We are following it up with a "Pizza Night" for alumni only (no guests this time) on Wednesday October 7th from to 5:30 - 7:30 pm. This will be held at 1550 Evans Avenue, SF, Ca 94124 (corner of 3rd St.) in the Bayview district. This event is to begin working on a plan to revitalize and reorganize the Northern CA Alumni Association, talk about the duties of the officers and start the nomination process to establish new officers. We will also begin sending a quarterly "Alumni Newsletter" with the first edition going out the end of September. Please make sure we have your updated contact information so you won't miss out on receiving it.
You MUST RSVP for the pizza party by Monday October 5th in order to attend, so please contact Joni and be a part of the changes we are working toward for all Walden House Alumni members!
