The Walden House executive committee is comprised of individuals from throughout the organization. They have been selected for their dedication and their many contributions to the program.

Rod Libbey, CEO - Has developed and managed successful programs in the public and private sectors since 1970. At Walden House since 2004.

Vitka Eisen, M.S.W., Ed.D, Chief Operating Officer - Has over 19 years experience in the human services field and a lifelong commitment to supporting people and communities struggling with addiction and incarceration. Dr. Eisen is a Walden House graduate, “Class of `87.”

David Crawford, CFO - Holds an MBA from the University of Michigan with a focus on Finance and Cost Accounting. Worldwide experience with emerging and established companies from $0 to $10 billion in revenues.

Jegan Anandasakaran, CIO - Known as a problem solver, he's been recognized by Microsoft as an Early Achiever MCSE. He also holds CNE status with Novell. At Walden House since 2003.

Richard Jimenez, M.A., Managing Director of Development - Has a Masters Degree in Psychology and has worked in the Social Services field for 16 years developing, activating and implementing programs in a variety of settings for high risk and hard to serve populations, including criminal justice, homeless and the dually diagnosed. He has worked at the local and state level to develop program standards for in-prison and community based programming.

Demetrius Andreas, Managing Director, Criminal Justice Programs-Community Services - Has been providing services to the pre and post incarcerated populations for 19 years.

Wayne Garcia, R.A.S. - N.C.A.C.-1, Deputy Chief of Clinical Services - Wayne began in an entry level position in San Francisco in 1996 and worked his way ‘up the ladder'.  He opened the Hill Street program in Los Angeles in 1998 as the Facility Manager. Today he oversees the Clinical Services for Los Angeles and Inglewood Residential and Outpatient Programs,  the In-Custody Programs at The Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran State Prison, Valley State Prison for Women in Chowchilla, Institute for Women in Corona, along with all Adult Residential Services in San Francisco.  Believing that "A client's history does not have to be their future", he is an advocate for prison reform and serves as a motivational speaker in community and prison settings.

Mardell Gavriel, Psy.D., Managing Director, Mental Health and Specific Populations - A California licensed psychologist who has developed and directed clinical programs at Walden House since 1997 and has been instrumental in the implementation of evidence-based practices at the agency.

Larry Nelson, Director of Clinical Services-Multi - Has worked in the treatment field for 26 years. Helped to start many programs at Walden House including criminal justice and  adult and adolescent clinical programs

Gavin O’Neill, Managing Director, Adolescent Services - Gavin entered Walden House as a client on February 23rd, 1994. He received his Masters degree in 2004 from the University of Oregon where he taught writing. He is the former Chief of Staff for Walden House.

Renee Smith, LCSW, Managing Director, Criminal Justice Programs-Women & Children Services - Twenty years of experience working with women and girls in the areas of substance abuse, mental health and corrections, the last eight years exclusively with female offenders both in prison and in the community. 

Arturo Carrillo, Development & Community Partnership Specialist - Has worked for Walden House for 30 years in various clinical and administrative capacities.
